FAQ’S
Personal Lifestyle Services
-
The more notice the better, especially for recurring services like Wellness Check-ins or Travel House Checks. For one-off errands or rides, reach out as soon as you know your schedule and I'll do my best to fit you in.
-
Whatever's easiest for you. I can keep a copy of your key, use a garage code, or access a lockbox, your choice.
-
Mileage is calculated from my home base to your location (or the location of your task). The farther the distance, the higher the tier, you can see the breakdown under each service.
-
I don't provide a formal NDA, but I take your privacy seriously and keep everything I see, hear, or handle while working with you completely confidential.
-
Life happens, and I get that schedules shift. If you need to cancel, just let me know at least 2 hours before your scheduled time and there's no charge.
Canceling inside that 2 hour window means full payment is still due. Once I've set aside that time for you, it's hard to fill it on short notice.
Photography Services
-
Yes, a deposit is required to lock in your session time. It runs 30% of your package price, with the rest due day-of or at delivery.
-
You can expect your edited images within 1-2 weeks of your session.
-
For Park and Mountain sessions, weather happens. If it's not cooperating, I offer a free reschedule, no penalty, since it's out of everyone's control.
-
Photo sessions take some prep on my end, so I ask for at least 24-48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside that window forfeit the deposit.
-
Yes, having you nearby is a big help. Your dog will likely feel more comfortable and cooperative with you close by, and I may ask for your help getting their attention, holding treats, or guiding them into position. You're welcome to just watch, or if you'd like to jump into some shots yourself, that's available as an add-on for $30.
Pet Services
-
Payment is due day of by end of service.
I accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, or check.
-
Yes. Before your pup's stay, I ask that you provide written instructions covering things like their daily routine, feeding portions and schedule, any commands they respond to, and anything else I should know to keep them comfortable and cared for. The more detail, the better.
-
To keep everyone safe and healthy, all pups need to be up to date on the following before staying with me:
Bordetella vaccination (current)
DHLPP vaccination (current)
Rabies vaccination (current)
Negative heartworm status
You can show proof of all of the above through your vet records.
I'm also not able to accept dogs with a history of aggression, for the safety of your pup and every other dog in my care.
-
Booking your dates means I'm no longer available for anyone else who wants that same window, so here's how it works on my end.
A 25% deposit is due to reserve your stay, and it's non-refundable since it's what locks in your spot.
If your plans change after that, the remaining balance depends on timing:
If I'm able to fill your dates with another client, you'll get that balance back in full.
If I'm not able to fill them, it converts to a credit toward a future stay instead.
The earlier you give me a heads up, the more likely I can rebook those dates and get some money back to you.
If your dog's stay wraps up early, any unused time gets credited toward your next visit.
Need to extend last minute? I ask for at least 24 hours notice if your pup's staying longer than planned. Same-day extension requests come with a $25 fee.
-
Plans change, I get it. You can cancel your scheduled walk up to 2 hours before the start time with no charge at all.
If you cancel within that 2 hour window, full payment is still expected. I block off that time for your pup, so once we're inside the 2 hour mark, it's tough for me to fill that spot with someone else.
-
Please try to give me as much notice as possible if you need to cancel.
For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance: if I'm able to rebook that date with another client, no charge to you. If I can't rebook it, payment for that day is still expected, but you'll get a credit toward a future stay (boarding or daycare) so it's not wasted.
-
Damage: Accidents happen, especially with pups in a new environment. If your dog damages something in my home, I'll reach out to talk it through with you directly.
Injury: Your dog's safety is always my top priority. If your pup gets hurt while in my care, I will contact you immediately and get them to the nearest vet or emergency clinic if needed. The owner is responsible for any vet costs related to the injury, or I expect to be reimbursed for costs I cover upfront.

I'm flexible. Just let me know what works for your schedule and we'll coordinate a time that's convenient for both of us.
